UEFA bevestigt: boete van 45.000 euro en sluiting Vak E voor één duel

De tuchtcommissie van de UEFA heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat Feyenoord vanwege de gebeurtenissen bij Feyenoord - Besiktas een boete van 45.000 euro krijgt opgelegd. Daarnaast moet Vak E in de eerstvolgende Europese wedstrijd gesloten blijven. De maatregelen zijn opgelegd vanwege racisme op de tribune, ongeregeldheden op de tribune en het gooien en afsteken van vuurwerk.
Besiktas blijft zonder staf voor de gebeurtenissen in De Kuip.
The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has taken the following decision:
Competition: 2014/15 UEFA Champions League
Match: Feyenoord 1-2 Beşiktaş JK, 30 July, third qualifying round first leg
Incidents: Racist behaviour – Article 14 UEFA Disciplinary Regulations; Crowd disturbances – Article 16 (2) DR; Setting-off/throwing of fireworks and missiles – Article 16 (2) DR; Insufficient organisation – Article 16 (1) DR
Sanction: The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has ordered the partial closure of Feyenoord's stadium for the next UEFA competition match which they will play as host club and, in particular, sector E of the ground. The Dutch team has also been fined €45,000.
